• Option or -ola command line switch are specified, WinRAR does not
• Allow to extract symbolic links with ".." in target if any of
• Link path components is an existing symbolic link itself.
• It is done to prevent bypassing WinRAR security checks with
• Chains from several symbolic links.
• Bugs fixed:
• If "Add" command was used from inside of archive opened
• In WinRAR interface, "file not found" error could be issued
• For files which pathnames included spaces;
• Fixed crashes when unpacking corrupt RAR archives;
• "rar a arc. filename" command created "arc." archive
• With trailing dot instead of expected "arc" without any extension;
• "New folder" button in extraction dialog selected a parent of
• Newly created folder instead of such folder itself;
• "Checksum error" could be mistakenly reported for some valid
• GZIP archives.

"Source Code Pro" is used as default font from this version. The font will be applied only if it's your first installation. In the case you upgrade to v6.8 from an old version, you should set the font "Source Code Pro" as your default font via Styles configurator; otherwise close Notepad++, delete styles.xml (you will lose your old settings) then relaunch it. Of course you can always restore the old default font "Courier New" via Styler configurator.
Settings on Cloud feature is modified in this release: its UI is changed from the choices among dropbox, one drive and google drive to a text field of local cloud path to be filled. there are 2 advantages for this change:

1. Settings on cloud implementation won't depends on non official interfaces of 3 clouds, which causes the regression each time these interfaces changes.
2. users can read/write on whichever cloud to synchronize their Notepad++ settings.

تغيير أحرف الأقراص الصلبة في “جهاز الكمبيوتر” في ويندوز

يلاحظ المستخدم في ويندوز داخل “جهاز الكمبيوتر” وجود تقسيمات القرص الصلب مع وجود حرف أبجدي يرمز لهذا القرص، وقد يرغب المستخدم في تغيير هذه الحروف وهو مايمكن القيام به في ويندوز بكل سهولة.

في ويندوز 7 وماقبله نضغط على زر إبدأ ثم نضغط على “جهاز الكمبيوتر” بالزر الأيمن للماوس ونختار “إدارة” Manage، ثم نختار من النافذة الجديدة “إدارة القرص الصلب” Disk Management. أما في ويندوز 8 فنضغط على زر “ويندوز” + “إكس” في لوحة المفاتيح ونختار إدارة القرص الصلب.

نلاحظ في أسفل النافذة الجديدة وجود تقسيمات القرص الصلب، وبالضغط على أي واحد منها بالزر الأيمن للماوس، تظهر قائمة نختار منها “تغيير حرف القرص الصلب” Change Drive Letter… ونختار من القائمة الحرف المناسب ونضغط “موافق” Ok
